Kesariya Peda| केसरिया पेड़ा 





Ingredients:


1.5 Ltrs Cow's Milk
Saffron threads
150 gm Jaggery or 150 gm Boora/Tagar

Method:

1.Take a heavy bottom iron kadhai.
2.Turn on the flame and add milk to kadhai.
3.Let the milk bol for 5 minutes on high flame.
4.Add few saffron threads and reduce the flame.
5.Using Spatula keep stirring milk.
6.We have to reduce the milk to form mawa.
7.Keep stirring in between and when milk reduce to half.
8.Increase the flame and continously stir it until mawa starts leaving kadhai's surface.
9.If you want to make peda's with jaggery then add grated jaggery at this time when mawa is ready.
10.Turn off the flame and keep stirring so that jaggery mix well with mawa.
11.If you want to make these peda's with boora/tagar.
12.Then Let it cool completely.
13.Take out mawa in a plate.
14.When its completely cool then start kneading it with palm to make a soft dough.
15.Now after 5 minutes kneading start making peda's.
16.Decorate it with kesar threads.
17.Kesariya Peda's are ready to serve.
