                     Dahi Wale Aloo | दही वाले आलू

Ingredients:

4 Boiled Potatotes (coarsely mashed)
3 cup Sour Curd/Khatta Dahi
Pinch of Asafetida powder
1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder/Haldi Powder
1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder/Lal Mirch Powder
1/2 tsp cumin Seeds/Zeera
Salt to taste
2 tsp Mustard Oil
Water

Method:

1.First beat the curd using blender or churner.
2.Take a pan & turn on the flame.
3.Add 2 tsp mustard oil to it.
4.When oil get heat turn flame low.
5.Add pinch of asafetida & cumin seeds.
6.When cumin seeds starts poping now add 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder/Haldi Powder & little bit water, stir well.
7.Add 1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder/Lal Mirch Powder, stir well.
8.Roast it for 1 min.
9.Now add boiled potatoes,mix well.
10.Keep stirring for 2 min.
11.After 2 min add beaten curd, continously keep stirring.
12.Turn flame high & keep stirring untill it starts boiling.
13.When it starts boiling then add salt to taste.
14.Cook for another 15 min on low flame.
15.After 15 min turn off the flame.
16.Take out this tempting "Dahi K ALoo" in a serving bowl.
17.Serve it with roti, parathas, poori or naan.
