Dum-E-Arbi|Arbi Masala

Ingredients:
250 gm Arbi/Taro Roots2 tsp Turmeric Powder/Haldi
2 tsp Dry Coriander Powder/Dhaniya Powder
1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder/Lal Mirch Powder
Salt To Taste
1/2 tsp Ajwain
1.5 tbsp Mustard Oil
1/2 Cup Water
2 Large Size Onion(chopped)
4-5 Garlic Cloves
Method:
1.Peel Arbi and wash them well.2.Take a mixing jar and add onion and garlic cloves add some water(if required for grinding)make a fine paste.
3.Turn on the flame and put pressure cooker/Handi on it.
---Do Not use pan or kadhai.
4.Add oil to it, let it heat.
5.When oil is heat enough, add ajwain and add onion garlic paste.
6.Keep the flame low add haldi/dhaniya powder and lal mirch powder & salt.
7.Cook all masala's on low flame for 5-7 minutes or untill it starts leaving oil.
8.When masala is cooked well then add arbi's and mix well with masala.
9.Add 1/2 cup water and cover with plate or lid.
10.Do not pressure cook.
11.Cook on low flame for 10-15 minutes and keep stirring in between.
12.After 15 minutes check arbi is done or not if its still hard then you can pressure cook for 1 whistle & then turn off the flame.
13.Then its ready for serving with roti/paranthas
