Dahi Phulki| दही फुल्की

Ingredients
250 gm Cup Curd/Dahi1 Cup Gram Flour/Besan
6-7 Garlic Cloves
1/3 tsp Red Chilli Powder
1/2 tsp Black Salt
1/2 tsp Roasted Cumin Seed Powder(Bhuna zeera powder)
1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds
Pinch of Asafetida powder
Pinch of Baking soda
Black Salt to taste
Salt to taste
1 tsp Deshi Ghee
Water
Method:
1.Peel garlic cloves and make smooth paste of it.2.Take a empty bowl and add besan/gram flour to it.
3.Add little amount of water and make a smooth paste(no lumps) like we make for pakodi.
4.Using whisker mix water,besan and keep stirring in one direction for 2 minutes.
5.Now add 1/4 tsp of garlic paste,Salt to taste & red chilli powder and mix well.
6.Let it rest for 5 minutes.
7.After 5 minutes its ready to make phulki,add pinch of baking soda.
8.Take a kadhai turn on flame and add mustard oil for deep frying phulki's.
9.When oil is hot enough, add pour prepared batter with help of spoon or hands.
10.Deep fry them till golden brown.
11.Take out phulki on tissue paper and similarly fry them all.
12.Now take curd in a bowl and add remaining garlic paste and smoothen curd using whisker.
13.Add black salt and roasted cumin seed powder,mix well.
14.Now take water in bowl, dip the prepared phulki in to water,then squeeze excess water & add them to flavored curd.
15.Leave it for 15 minutes & then serve.
16.You can add tadka (optional).
17.For tadka take a pan, turn on the flame and add 1 tsp desi ghee and add hing and zeera.
18.Add this tadka to prepared Dahi phulki and its ready to serve with roti or paratha.
You can also eat it as it is :)
