                Bhakosa-आटे से बना टेस्टी और हैल्थी नाश्ता

Ingredients 

This recipe consists of four steps.
I have explained ingredients & method of each step separately.

Step 1: Filling Preparation
Step 2: Bhakosa Preparation
Step 3: Steaming
Step 4: Dressing with Masala


Step 1: (Filling Ingredients)

2 Cup Chana Daal(soaked over night)
1/2 Cup Urad Daal (soaked over night)
5-6 Green Chillies
1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
1/2 tsp Dry Mango Powder(Amchur Powder)
1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds(Zeera)
1/2 tsp Garam Masala
1 tsp Salt

Method:
1. Soak Chana Daal & Urad daal overnight (or for 6-8 hrs).
2. Seperate water from both daals, first grind chana daal add cumin seeds(Zeera) &
   green chillies while grinding.
3. Similarly coarsely grind urad daal.
4. Mix both the paste and add remaining ingredients at thsi stage.
5. Then keep it aside.


Step 2:Dough Preparation 

Ingredients:

2 Cup Wheat Flour
1/2 Glass Water

Method:
1.Mix samll amount of water to flour and try to bind it.
2. Then add water as requirement and make a dough like paratha.
3. Dough must not be too soft nor too hard.
4. Leave the dough for rest about 5-10 min.

Step 3:Bhakosa Preparation:

Ingredients:
Filling prepared in step 1
Dough prepared in step 2
Wheat flour(for making chapati)
Oil

Method:
1.Make small balls like lemon and using some flour to make thin chapati.
2.Put filling in half portion of chapati and fold the other half over it.
3.Roast Bhakosa's over tawa by applying little amount of oil, the texture of bhakosa's will look like paratha.

Step4: Steaming

Method:
1. Take a steamer and put all bhakosa's in it.
2. Cook for 5 min on high flame.
3. Then reduce the flame & cook for 40 min on low flame.
4. After 40 min check bhakosa's,if filling get quite hard then its done.
5. At this stage you can serve bhakosa's, but if you need spicy bhakosa's then follow next step.

Step5: Masala Preparation:

2 tbsp Oil
1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder/ Lal Mirch Powder
1/2 tsp Salt/ Namak(you can add as per your taste)

1/2 tsp Garam Masala
2 tsp Turmeric Powder/Haldi
2 tsp Dry Coriander Powder/Dhaniya Powder
2 medium size Onion
5-6 Garlic cloves

Method:
1.Cut Bhakosa's into small pieces.
2.Make smooth paste of garlic and onion in grinder.
3.Heat Oil in a kadhai.
4.Add Onion garlic paste.
5.Add Haldi+Dhaniya powder+Salt+Lal mirch powder.
6.Stir well all the ingredients.
7.Add garam masala (optional you can skip it).
8.Cook this masala utill it start leaving oil.
9.When masala is cooked then add bhakosa's to it.
10.And they are ready to serve.
